PSA OXYGEN PLANTS

 

Unfortunately, our country had to face deadly 2nd wave of Covid 19. In this situation, our country was passing through challenges related to health infrastructure in government hospitals. During this period, the number of patients had rapidly increased which increased the demand for medical oxygen. Considering the limited source for production of Oxygen, the Government of Gujarat decided to install In-house oxygen generation plants such as Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) medical oxygen generation plants in major Government hospitals of Gujarat.

Gujarat CSR Authority implemented the project and GACL Foundation Trust  (GFT) was one of the many supporters of the projects to establish PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) Oxygen Plants in state GMERS Operated Government hospitals based on the guidance and advice of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat.

 

GLIMPSES OF ACTIVITIES DURING COVID 19.

 
  • Provided 45 nos. of Oxygen Cylinders to Civil Hospital, Vyara, Tapi District at the time of the second wave of Covid-19.
  • Supported for 3000 nos. of PPE Kits and 1000 nos. of Dead body kits to Civil Hospitals, Bharuch.
  • 1 Ambulance service at SSG Hospital, Vadodara for COVID-19 patients for the period of one month.
  • Financial Assistance of Rs.2.00 Crores provided by GACL Foundation Trust to GCSRA for set up, installation and commissioning of PSA Oxygen Plants at Various Government operated Hospitals of Gujarat State.
