Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL), one of the leading Chlor-alkali manufacturers of India has set up GACL Foundation Trust (GFT) which works to provide support to vulnerable communities, thus helps GACL in meeting its CSR obligations.

GFT is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. GFT extends helping hand to many government programs which often need support to meet last mile requirements to meet its objectives. GACL has agreed to partner with the community living in and around its existing and upcoming manufacturing facilities located at village Dahej Bharuch and village Ranoli of Vadodara. It has been working in villages of Chhotaudepur, and Narmada district of Gujarat to transform lives of people in various ways. Voluntary agencies working in Education, Special Children, Healthcare and Hygiene, Livelihood Generation and Art, Culture and Heritage in Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Vadodara have been supported financially.
